Hello food lovers! Hon Mun's here - First of all thank for visiting our food blog, I am of the owner/contributor of this blog among them. What I do? Currently I'm jobless *sigh* still in the mood of hunting job - LOL! Anyway, "I do blog - I do photography - I do eat" check out my blog @ munster0606.blogspot.com

Mmmm.. Did you guys know of Lui Cha (in cantonese)? Basically it is one of the Hakka tea-based beverage or gruel consisting of a mix of tea leaves that are ground or pounded together with various roasted nuts, seeds, and grains with rice. Ahaks! This is my first food post as contributor in g-eat.blogspot.com

A week a ago, one of my friend brougth me to try Hakka Lei Cha at Taman Sri Sinar, Segambut. It was my 1st time to try Hakka foods (if not mistaken) lolol. Let see photos okay?

mother tongue food - Teochew food

Chao Yen - The Menu

Mashed Yam

-This is my Favourite!! Very nice and just the same as what my grandma did for me.

Dried Chili Fried Shark Fish Meat

- I like this.. okay for those who think fish with bones and witht the freshness smell, this meal wouldn't give you any taste like that, this tasted like chicken.

Sticky Rice cake fried with Dark Sauce
-Well.. I'm a person who like to eat sticky rice cake thats why ordering this.

Yam Stick-

Crunchy outside and mild sweetness.
Really very recommend for after meal.

Grill Duck Breast Meat
- Highly recommended from the Chao Yen's waitress, she said must try this and
it's brilliant. Actually it's very famous for teachew food, if you never try it don't tell people you ate teochew food before.

Pork Blood Soup

-Pretty nice, just can't take too much of it. Isn't not nice just high colestrol.

The entire of the restaurant actually wasn't very big, this wide window is facing to Sunway Lagoon. At night you may see the silent night of Sunway Lagoon with shining bridge saying "Welcome to Sunway Lagoon".

The service here is very good, maybe theres not much customer and dont dare to be rude?
Food all are very presentable, and the food serving to table are very consistent.
I like the enviroment, the service and food as well so if asking me whether will be back the second time? Why not?
